Last year the those clever folk at NetEntertainment made the MegaFortune jackpot playable on mobile devices.
It’s the exact same game as you would ply on your PC…only you get the reels spinning with a touch rather than a click. That’s probably why they chose to call the mobile version MegaFortune Touch.
In no time flat most casinos offering this game made it available as part of their mobile game suite (why wouldn’t they…it’s the biggest online jackpot in the world).
Mega Fortune goes off quite frequently. The stats at the MegaFortune chart page put the average interval at around 10 weeks (average hit value around €5 million, biggest hit €18 million!). But until recently it hadn’t been hit by a player while playing on their phone.
That’s now changed!
Posting about a multi-million euro win at Betsson mid January, we noticed a follow up win a week later…
It turns out this win, also at Betsson, went to a Mega Fortune Touch player. On Saturday 25 January, a man from Sweden, sitting in a cafe, or at a bus stop, or on the train, or at a football game, touched his phone and became 658,148 EUR richer in an instant!
In doing so he became the first Mega Fortune Touch winner.
Congrats to all involved, especially the winner.
